In A Lonely Place Revisited

I just saw “In A Lonely Place” and was completely floored by how good it was. Ray drew some amazing performances from Humphrey Bogart and Gloria Grahame. And there are all these peripheral characters who seem so strangely flawed. The agent, the masseuse, the cop and his wife, the tipsy actor. It’s film noir with a Hollywood Babylon twist.
The ending was just devastating.
